What’s In My Smoothie Today? Looks Can Be Deceiving!

Standard

This smoothie is different from the last one as far as ingredients go, but it looks the same so I didn’t bother to photograph. Is that lazy?  I suppose I could just take the original photo and photo edit it to look different…ahhh, but I wouldn’t do that to you!

Fresh squeezed orange juice

Fresh strawberries

Frozen raspberries

Banana

Coconut milk

Almond Milk

Fresh frozen pineapple

So Delicious Cultured Coconut Milk Vanilla (I had this leftover from the “cheesecake” I made)

Aloe Vera Juice (why? click for more info)

Vitamin C crystals (why not?)

Healthy Hypocrite tip:  When you buy fresh pineapple, rinse off the whole thing before you cut it up.  After you cut off the top and discard, take the cuttings from the sides (outer skin) and put through your centrifugal juicer to extract the rest of the juice and use in your smoothie or another recipe.  Don’t have a recipe in mind at the time?  Freeze the pineapple juice in an ice cube tray and then store in an air-tight freezer container or ziplock bag for later use.
