The Hypocrite is on vacation today. Actually, it’s more like banished! Oh, and sorry for the fuzzy photo. Didn’t realize in time to retake.
Here’s what I had on hand for this healthy juice:
Carrot (about a dozen)
Kale (a few handfuls)
Beet (1 small)
Garlic (2 small cloves)
Ginger (a few slices)
Cucumber (1/3 of a medium/large)
Celery (2-3 stalks)
Red bell pepper (about 1/5 of a medium–it’s all I had left!)
In case you’re wondering, this made a little over 3 cups of juice.
Healthy Hypocrite Tip: Wash your veggies when you bring them home and refrigerate in air tight containers so they are ready to go when you want to make your juice or salad or whatever. I don’t store onions or unripe tomatoes in the fridge until I’ve cut them and used part. This probably applies to some other veggies too. I probably should store potatoes in the fridge too, but I usually don’t have room for them.
